This award may have to be re-named as the Aron Baynes award as he has been consistently in the top two performers every week so far this year. The 208cm behemoth from Washington St . dropped 19 points, 16 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 blocks as Union Olimpija (5-6) crushed Cibona (5-7) 87-82 in the Adriatic League. The win now puts Union Olimpija 8th in the Adriatic League. Aron Baynes currently ranks 7th in rebounding in the Adriatic League and has averaged 12.0 ppg, 5.8 rpg in the 11 Slovenian League games they’ve played so far.

Former Teams: Xinjiang Flying Tigers (China), Melbourne Tigers (NBL), Portland Trailblazers (NBA), St Mary’s (NCAA)

Despite not getting much opportunity at the start of the season, Patty Mills contributed 13 points in 16 minutes in an easy 132-102 victory against the Charlotte Bobcats (7-12) this week. The win pushes the San Antonio Spurs to an impressive 17-4 record for the season and it was also their fourth consecutive victory. Patty Mills season averages are currently 5.8ppg, 1.2rpg and 1.1apg in 17 games.

David Andersen

Current Team:  Fenerbahce Ulker (Turkey - TBL, Euroleague)

Former Teams: Montepaschi Siena (Italy), New Orleans Hornets (NBA), Toronto Raptors (NBA), Houston Rockets (NBA), CSKA Moscow (Euroleague), Wollongong Hawks (NBL),

David Andersen and his team Fenerbahce Ulker (8-1) came away with a surprisingly easy victory against the closely-ranked Banvit BK (7-2). Fenerbahce Ulker crushed them 89-69 in their Turkish TBL match up and Andersen scored 15 points and 3 rebounds in 22 minutes. This was Fenerbahce Ulker’s fourth consecutive victory in their TBL scheduale and are now sit on top of the Turkish Basketall League. David Andersen is currently averaging 8.6ppg and 3.8rpg

Joe Ingles

Hometown: Hope Valley, SA

Current Team: Regal FC Barcelona (Spain –  ACB)

Former Teams: South Dragons (NBL)

Joe Ingles  led Regal FC Barcelona (7-4) to a victory over the 15th-ranked Cajasol (2-9) 78-64 in the Spanish ACB this week. Ingles was named MVP of the game after delivering 13 points and 3 assists in the victory. Regal FC Barcelona currently sits fifth in ACB competition after getting off to a slow start. This year Ingles has been averaging 6.5ppg, 2.0rpg, 1.5apg in ACB games.
