Patty Mills has completed the ultimate journey that every young Australian player dreams of.

Mills, who started out at age four playing for his local basketball association (an Indigenous basketball team that his parents established called the Shadows), playing state basketball for the ACT and graduating from the Australian Institute of Sport before achieving the ultimate players dream, playing in the NCAA, being drafted into the NBA and playing for the Australian Boomers Olympic team.
