BIGV 2017 Mid-Season Review Podcast

With no NBL going on, very few Aussies left playing in the NBA and Europe winding down, we thought we might check in on what’s happening in state league hoops so we sat down with the Communications Coordinator of the BigV basketball league, Steve Chalmers.


We discuss the upcoming BIGV Origin 2017 showcase the league is preparing to stage in June. The game will feature an All-Star game between BIGV players who represented Country Victoria basketball as a junior against the players who represented Victoria Metro basketball as junior players.


It’s the second year the club has put this initiative together and this year it is set to feature a three-point shootout and dunk competition from the very best state league talent Victoria has to offer.


This week rosters were announced for both the men and women’s games.
